About

Urban Harvest is a nonprofit community organization in Greensboro, North Carolina, dedicated to local urban food production, distribution and education, employing the principles of sustainability and Permaculture, accessible to all citizens.

Urban Harvest’s vision is to create a Greensboro full of edible landscaping and nutritionally literate people in which everyone has access to fresh, healthy food.

We use a business model that includes some revenue-generating services including installing residential edible landscaping, and growing food for sale to local restaurants and farmer’s market. We also provide public services by partnering with land-owners and the City of Greensboro to install community gardens.

Are you on twitter, facebook or linked in?

I am a local landscape designer and publisher of Just a Cloud Away Journal. Terragen Nurseries and myself are hosting a holistic healing garden workshop in June. Would you like to join us?
